So yeah like the title says, I'm using the air Canada website 'Flight Disruption compensation eligibility' and it says 'Pending' and that I should wait till 3 days after my arrival to file claim, which was yesterday.

Should I wait for the tool to update or is there another manual way to file the claim which will work just as well?

Interesting to see that Air Canada posts different delays and amounts for compensation even though the EU law is pretty straightforward on how much they are legally required to pay. Will see how it goes :)

For those interested: CPH-LHR-YYC changed to CPH-LHR-YVR-YYC and downgraded from biz to economy (3 middle seats with 1 year old...) And 7 hour delay. It was an award flight through SAS who have refunded me the difference between biz and eco so that's something at least.
