Anyone have any experience with air Canada gate agents on passport conditions? I have a Canadian passport with a small 1/4 centimetre tear in one of the pages. Air Canada won’t give me a good answer on if that’s too much damage to board an international flight or not. They just say it will be determined on the day of travel. Shouldn’t they have a policy on what’s to much damage? Because regular wear and tear is ok apparently. And shouldn’t they be able to tell me what’s too much before I travel!?
