Have an upcoming flight from YYZ to FCO.

Have a bid in for upgrade from prem economy to business.

This Saturday will be 10 days prior to flight. As I understand it, there MAY be an “instant upgrade” option 10 days prior, but you can only do one or the other (bid or instant upgrade).

My question is, will I be able to see the instant upgrade option and price if I have a bid in? Or do I need to cancel bid?

And assuming if I cancel bid, if there are others who have same bid as me, I’m now behind them in line to get the upgrade?
