Although both do really well, I have to say that my Ps289 sprays better. I find more consistency in it. And the Ps289 is a bit more convenient with the MAC valve. Other than that, they are basically the same, only one has a MAC valve and the other doesn't, and one is side cup and the other isn't. It's a really tight race between the two though.

I do like it, but they main drawback I find is that now and then, along with pulling the needle now and then, you need to remove the plug on the opposite side also and clean there when flushing colors. That means removing the needle to do that too. But definitely a better view of your work.
