I’m fairly new to airbrushing. I was painting a 3D resin print I designed and was getting a really lovely corse splatter/grainy/textured spray that made the purple-white gradient look great (for my beginner eyes).

My question is how can I reproduce it 🤣. Everything I’ve tried since I keep getting a really smooth/soft spray and not the texture I had before.

I have a cheapo 0.3mm nozzle dual action airbrush and compressor from Amazon (image attached).

A few things I’ve read online suggest lower pressure or thicker paint. But it’s just not producing the same results as the first coat.

Thanks in advance!

Popsicle stick. Search youtube for airbrushing splatter effects. It'll come up what I'm saying
