Hi, can anyone give me more information on bookings made through airbnb.org? I just received an inquiry for 6 nights at my full price, but in the details, it mentions "airbnb.org helps provide housing for refugees, evacuees, front line workers and other people in times of crisis." Is this guest paying the $3500 for their stay or is airbnb?
In the guest's message, they state "We are traveling in order to spend family time, enjoy <location> and surroundings, ski, tubing, etc. We will check in on Jan 2nd. Time depends on travel arrangements, which I plan to do tomorrow."
Thoughts? Scammer? Should I feel comfortable with accepting this booking?
Edit: looks like this is a glitch being experienced by many, thank you all for the help. I have reported to airbnb support, but they appear clueless so far.
Edit 2: Airbnb support confirmed this is a glitch. I suggest anyone experiencing the issue to report it to airbnb support so that it gets prioritized.
