Not sure what to došŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø
Post Body

Hey so I put up my first BnB recently and booked it out for 27 daysā€¦ the tenant seemed relatively normal but as I looked into his profileā€¦ his profile picture doesnā€™t show his face, the number of guests is different than what he reported (2 people instead of 2 and a child), and his phone number on AirBnB is not his real number/out of service. Also, he hasnā€™t been identity vetted on AirBnB, only phone and email.

I know itā€™s stupid but I was excited to get my first booking and didnā€™t know how to properly vet the guys. They also booked it same day so I didnā€™t have much time to check. These guys have been up and about and around all throughout the night, and itā€™s only day 2 of manyā€”ā€”a family with kids lives upstairs so Iā€™m genuinely concerned about what theyā€™re doing in this BnB basement unit.

What can I do from here?? Iā€™m not sure what the next steps areā€¦

Should I check on the property myself? He is no longer answering my messages but I see him on the Blink cam. Iā€™m lost because Iā€™m almost certain something weird is going on here but idk if thereā€™s anything I can do.

Itā€™s your very first guest so understandably youā€™re nervous and overreacting. Just relax and donā€™t bother your guest.
