Guests claimed to have booked my place for two nights

Two people just showed up claiming to have booked the room I rent out. But they have not, they were not able to show any reservation on their phone, but claimed to have paided for two nights. Our room is not booked for tonight, but it is occupied for tomorrow. The guests got upset and want their money back. Do we need to do anything? Probably They just thought They have booked, but didnt.
Another thing, how could They know the adress? the adress dont show up before you book it…
