So we have a booking for a guest from FL. Originally 8 guests that were are 10. No problem our home hosts 10 all the time. We made special arrangements for him to check in early at 1pm instead of 4pm. He immediately started complaining the house is too small. It’s a 5 bedroom 4 1/2 bath sitting on a 1 acre lot. Also says the upstairs is not connected to the downstairs bc stairs are on the outside with an overhead concrete terrace. This place is not a house it’s separate rooms. Today whining about the water heater is not hot enough. It is set at 120 degrees and is an instant hot unit. The pool isn’t clean. I sent my handyman within the hour to check these items and he took pictures of the setting on the water heater and the pool is in great shape. How do I do his review to make sure other hosts are aware they he is a “Karen”. TIA
Update:
They are gone! The electric meter went bad and stopped working late last night. We get notified by our solar system when the power is down so we were there within 2 hours. We were confused at first bc a lot of the breakers were turned off and the power would flicker. Normally the batteries are plenty to last overnight but the guest refused to turn off non essential items and drained them completely. The discussion in the app is pretty comical. Stuff from “it’s dark and scary” to “I can’t sleep in the dark” and a classic “is the cohost bringing jumper cables or an extension cord to get power from the neighbors.” The called support and the thankfully relocated them. In my head wooing to a different unknown property after midnight in PR is sketchy at best. The power company is onsite this morning making repairs. 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
