The title may not make much sense so I’ll try to explain. My boyfriend is aware I use age regression due to my BPD as a coping mechanism and he isn’t against it or weirded out by it, but I feel ashamed when I want to tell him I just want to regress and be able to talk how I want to talk and openly express my behaviors because I feel selfish. Asking him to take care of me or treat me a certain way to make me feel more safe feels wrong even though I don’t think he minds it.

How do I talk to him about this? I always feel like I’m having to hold back out of shame even though he’s very aware of what it is and has always been supportive and knows it’s not a weird sexual thing so he has never made me feel unsafe.
