So last year I decided to start dabbling in miniature wargames. I started with a bit of 40k but quickly found it not to my liking (too competitive focused, the lore seems stagnant, few other things)
I finally started looking into Age of Sigmar after dismissing it last year, assuming it was going to just be New WHFB...and boy was that stupid. Cause damn does AoS seem pretty darn cool! I love the look of the models, the stories I have seen and read, the lore, its all so damn cool.
However, my interests in mini wargaming has always seemed odd to me, compared to what I see online.
I dont really care about painting. I will, but its like, lowest on my priority list.
I dont really care if I play a game. I would like to, but I would do it super casually.
What I love is lore and stories, and collecting and building models.
Is this odd? I dont really see many people who fit what I am into and I am curious if thats odd. Are there others out there like me?
Like, how much do you dislike a person who decides they want to play in a casual game with a grey army? I get that painted is better (and I agree) but its not just something I personally care about.
