So I haven’t had a chance to play any AOS games but a local group is about to start a path to glory with new players welcome, I picked the Maggotkin because I recently got in to the lore and wanted to paint some of the models anyway. After reading the battletome I really like the beast of nurgle lore so I wanted to make a warband that involved them. Basically I was thinking of taking the lord of afflictions with blightkings and a beast of nurgle as my starting team. Thinking the Lord of afflictions already has a flying mount and he wants to herd the beasts of nurgle eventually creating more rot flys for Pusgolye Blightlords/Plague Drones.

We are starting at 600 points

I’m more or less curious if I’ll get tabled or will I be able to hold my own. I personally feel like fielding 7 models might not be great but like the narrative in my head. However, I think I can summon in some plaguebearers or another beast to help after turn 2ish?
