Got a new Windows laptop just to play AoE. It's the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 from Costco. Despite 12th gen i7, 16GB RAM, SSD storage and a 2GB Nvidia graphics card, I had the game stutter and crash on me today. It worked fine yesterday on Ultra graphics with an external QHD monitor, but towards the end of the fairly basic Joan of Arc campaign, it crashed on me today.

Should I bring the resolution of the game down to FHD? I already went down from Ultra to High graphics. Does the game detect the fact that the laptop has a GPU automatically or do I need to do something to make it use the GPU?
