I'm just some random dude on the internet, and I know no one cares about my opinion, but I started thinking about this, and this is something that I hope is true for the afterlife. If you look on here, r/NDE, and r/Mediums, you'll see people having one of two main opinions on what the afterlife is like.
You'll either be in a non-physical afterlife where you can't eat, drink, play games, make love, etc, or you'll have an afterlife that is like here but better. Even on the mediums subreddit, a place filled with people who can allegedly speak with the dead, you'll see people saying yes and no to the above.
So this gets to my main point. What I think, and what I hope, happens is that the afterlife is how we want it to be. If you want to be a floating ball of light then great, if you want a physical afterlife where you can do and experience anything you want, fantastic. If the afterlife is supposed to be as great as everyone says it is, then I don't see why it would be so limited. I just hope this is the case because one life is more than enough, and I don't want to have to reincarnate to be able to enjoy the things I do (especially since they won't be the same foods, music, games, hobbies, etc). And this way everyone gets what they want.
