So I’m a High School Senior from Austin Texas and I’ve been accepted to a lot of good places and have narrowed it down to these two. But at this point I honestly don’t know which one I want. I hate the cold and I don’t do well in cold at all which is one of my larger concerns for going to live in Michigan for four years, but at the same time I believe it’s also a more respected and reputable school.
The two schools are opposites in many ways, like size and climate and such. I’ve also always wanted to go to UT Austin but I didn’t get in directly so I was considering maybe transferring there after a year elsewhere? Though most people are telling me A. That I shouldn’t base my choice off of weather, and B. That I should stick with my choice and not transfer.
Looking for some insight maybe on which way I should go with this. I’m going to visit Michigan this weekend and I saw embry riddle over the spring of last year.
As a pilot, who has friends who go to riddle, riddle is honestly an overpriced scam for a lot of the programs they offer, go to Michigan should be significantly cheaper and you’ll probably get the same quality of education if not better.
