I have been running Google Ads for 2 weeks now. My budget has ranged from £20 per day to £50 per day.

My audience is vehicle recovery. I use the 'Get more calls' option for my adverts, though I usually find that customers will call me from my website.

My issue is that I am spending a minimum of £20 per day and I am finding myself with 2 calls each day. I have had

• Calls from 20 miles outside my area that I am unable to attend to
• Calls from automated phone numbers that are not a real customer
• Calls from individuals only looking to compare prices

My industry prices are often compared, so I find that my customers have a high bounce rate and will compare prices with different businesses. Is google downrating my adverts because customers are calling me, then clicking on another advert?

I'm spending £10 per call and I can only attend to 1/3 of the calls I receive. I simply cannot pay £30 for a customer
