Problem/Goal: There are times when my main circle would ask me to go hangout then kasama 1 nila so I end up feeling awkward sometimes since sometimes it would just lead to a sort of couple’s hangout. Kapag naman may plans na nabubuo, botohan if kasama ba dapat ang 1s (pero I guess courtesy nalang ‘to), siyempre lugi ako since I’m automatically the minority. How do you decline invites? Or better yet, how to communicate this in a way na hindi siya magmukhang big deal?

Context: Third wheel? Fifth wheel? Heck, I’ve been on a dinner out with 5 couples right in front of me and it’s perfectly fine but there are times na sana sila nalang yung lumabas since I think mas appropriate. Di rin ako inggit, nauumay lang siguro ako kasi as someone na laid back di na nila naco-consider if I’m good hanging out as a big group na puro mag-partner sila.

Previous Attempts: They ask me if okay lang isama ang 1 nila, as much as I want to say na magiging couple’s hangout na naman yung lakad, ayaw ko maging rude so by default I just say yes.
