currently on my first rewatch in years of adventure time and man was bubbline not handled well

Season 5 Spoilers :banana_guard:

The last episode where they're both on screen is in season 4 and in that episode they're essentially rivals. Next episode with them both (season 5, sky witch) has the bubblegum t-shirt sniff which heavily implies bubblegum is huge in love with Marcy. All of the animosity between the two disappeared for seemingly no reason.

I really wish we had a bubbline centric episode to bridge the gap, it feels like there's a whole episode that was cut there. Like we did have in Fionna and Cake!

At least bubbline was handled well in Fionna and cake, 10 years later.
