I think I stopped breathing in my sleep

Post Body

I woke up at 1 because I was over heated and thirsty. I stay up for an hour until 3, and fall asleep. I remember having these tingles at the ends of my extremities. In pulses, they intensified, until it washed over me in one big pulse, making me numb until the pulses began again. It was very detaching, and I had a small dream about me floating up into the ceiling in tune with the feeling.

I floated in darkness, and I thought maybe I died. I thought about heaven, and a wonderful light shone in on me, and I could only make out the piercing rays of light. I thought about hell, and saw a flurry of fire beneath. I wondered why it felt so simple to imagine these things, and if they actually existed. My simple understandings of heaven and hell had not magically expanded, and so, I was to believe that it was whatever I learned and thought what it was, and nothing more.

My thoughts had been reduced to "I can think whatever I want". Then everything got really dark, and quiet. I really enjoyed it for a moment.

Then I woke up with a big, deep breath, massive fear, and unfamiliarity with my room. I slept for only an hour, and I peeked in and out of consciousness until it was the last minute to leave for work. Even as I got dressed for work, I didn't understand why I was even getting ready, but I did it anyways. I told myself "because it's important" but I still remained largely confused.

Not sure what to make of it all. But the confidence in control over my thoughts is quite nice.
