Hey everyone,
I’m reaching out because I’m feeling really hurt and confused. Whenever I share my achievements and successes with my parents, I’ve noticed that they talk negatively about me behind my back. I’m not sure if they’re genuinely unhappy for me or if there’s something else going on.
It’s disheartening to work hard and achieve things, only to feel like my success is met with criticism rather than support. I really value my relationship with my parents and want to address this issue, but I’m unsure of how to approach it without causing more tension.
Has anyone experienced something similar? How did you handle it? What are some effective ways to address this issue with your parents while maintaining a healthy relationship? And how can I avoid this kind of situation in the future?
I’d appreciate any advice or experiences you can share.
Thanks!
