As the title says, how do you handle someone who mansplains / womansplains? Refer to the chart above.
Not only happens to work but also for dating. For context, I met this guy online who seemed friendly and polite at first. When I got asked how I was then currently doing, I became honest and said not so good. He gave comforting words from the get go, but things went downhill after I said โitโs refreshing to see someone so understanding.โ Apparently he felt insulted and implied that I didnโt think he had values (!) and assumed I was questioning his upbringing as a guy. I swear some of my brain cells got fried that day, it felt like talking to a wall. Best way to handle people like this?
