I'm from the province and I've been working remotely for the past 6 years. Recently got a huge offer but would need me to be based in Makati (office is in Rockwell daw). They'll need me to be in the office for at least once a week.

I have no idea where to stay but currently have set a budget of 15k to 25k for rent alone (Incl. of dues if it's a condo). Willing to max out to 25k if I really like the place

However, since I'm only going to the office once or twice a week, I'm wondering how beneficial it would be to really find a place in Makati talaga or near Rockwell, compared to cheaper or more quality options in Mandaluyong? I'm mostly worried about traffic, one of the main reasons why I never considered moving before.

Other factors I'd consider would be safety (so I can go for a run without being worried of getting mugged lol), gyms, biking spots if there are any (I'm a roadie) so I can train, etc.
