I’m trying to gauge the community’s feelings on the subject and whether I should be pursuing this lifestyle or spending the time working on things with my SO.

I know it’s impossible to give a definitive answer but I am trying to at least have some comparison of my situation with others here.

A few points to inspire conversation:

• At what point did you say, ‘hey, I’m pursuing this lifestyle’? How long did you work on things before making that decision?

• Was it caused by dead bedroom, emotional neglect, lifestyle change, them cheating on you first, etc.?

• What even is a dead bedroom? Is it zero sexual contact? A lack of interest / initiative?

• Did you try to discuss the idea openly first? Therapy?
