Does race play a big part of your choice of AP
Post Body

I know a lot of us are here mainly to complement the void in our marital lives - not to completely change things at home. But I’m curious as to what’ important to you when looking for AP? Do you have a list of dos and don’ts that he/she must possess?

Would racial differences matter to you when it comes to AP?

I recently started talking to someone and the convos were going really great. We seemed to have a lot in common - we both are professionals and sounded like decent people meant to connect in this moment. We didn’t share pics; but I was upfront and asked this person what she thought about the possibility of us being different races, she said she had never had anyone outside her race and that’s the last message I had from her in the last three weeks. I got ghosted.

A couple days ago, again, I started messaging with someone on Reddit and we carried our conversations to a different app. She was upfront and seemed to like my personality until I asked if racial difference could be a dealbreaker? And that’s when I got, “I’m not interested. Wish you well.”

Has anyone else been through the same experience? I understand race might be a factor in choosing SO but does it also play into AP? Please share some thoughts/perspectives.
