Advice Please from Women

I'm not sure if it's my imagination but does this sub (and adultery generally???) generate a far higher proportion of women compared with men who get emotionally involved with their AP. Is this because of the stereotypes about men being able to compartmentalise the sex from the feelings?
BTW We are a happily married couple (23 years) but I wouldn't mind at all if my wife wanted to explore sexual variation with another man or woman - as long as it didn't risk our marriage
