I have been an long time lurker in here. The pain of heartbreak and the possibility of finding something equally beautiful, if not more - are both something I find quite fascinating.
Alongside that, what fascinates me equally is the sheer absence of posts from my side of the world, specially my country.
I know quite a few couple around me who are in self proclaimed unhappy marriage, "staying in it for the kids" or "staying in it for the financial security". No matter whatever the reason is, they are far more okay with carrying a deadbody of a relationship.
I guess, what I am trying to understand is - Why? Is that the context of the upbringing? Something else?
We have been conditioned since childhood to associate body with mind. But I doubt that can be a reason strong enough not to seek out pure, unadulterated happiness.
Guess this is more of a weird post than anything else. More of a diary. But feel free to chime in if you are interested to share some thoughts.
