In the wake of heartbreak, there is a temptation to build walls, to shield oneself from the pain of vulnerability. Yet, it is in our vulnerability that we find our true strength. For a broken heart, though wounded, still beats, still yearns for the possibility of healing and renewal. Time is both my friend and a foe, as it slowly stitches the fragments of my heart back together. With each passing day, the pain may reduce,, but the scars remain, a testament of my love for you. And as the heart begins to mend, it learns to love again, not in spite of the past, but because of it, finding beauty in the fragments and strength in the scars.
