I'm 27.
I've been complaining of the same symptoms since I was 13. For the first 7 years i really tried to be strong and keep it moving. The next 7 years I've spent fighting doctors, various blood tests and them not taking me seriously. Male doctors who've told me to just stop eating and female doctors who offer supplements.
Blood Test results that have been low: • S-Iron • Cortisol • Sodium • CO2 • HDL Cholesterol • CRP • Vitamin D • LDL Cholesterol (high)
On the daily I take the following medication: • Concerta • Sleeping Pills • Vitamin D Supplement • Iron Supplement • Adrenal Assist Supplements • Vitamin B
I have been diagnosed with the following: • PCOS • Bleeding gums (Dentist) • Consistent Low Blood Pressure • Low Blood Sugar • Over-Pressurized Eyes (Surgery Cross-linking administered) • Heart palpitations
I also experience: • feeling of lack of nutrient absorption • fatigued periods • dry skin with dry skin patches frequently • painful joints after walking for over an hour • scaly legs • painfully cold winters
The only times I've ever experienced weight loss of over 5kg was after being involved in a high stress job where I was surviving on red bull, concerta and tears. & the 2kgs I lost recently to covid.
I enjoy working out but unfortunately I rarely see results, I love resistance training but there's layers of fat blocking any results I have.
I have the lower stomach tyre and a fat pad on top my bum, which has led me to self-concious issues.
I cannot use contraceptives without gaining a tremendous amount of weight in a short time and worsening of above symptoms. Before trying contraceptive: 74kg, after finally stopping attempts: 95kg.
Now concerta is starting to become ineffective and I just dont know what to do.
Am I wrong?
