Normal 24h cortisol but slightly heigthened CBG (cortisol binding globulin)
Post Body

I had a 24h urine analysis done a few years ago. Nothing really came out of it, but I never saw the full report myself until now. It says I had normal cortisol, but slightly heigthened CBG which can be explained because I take oral contraceptives. I was wondering whether this slightly heigthened CBG could cause symptoms similar to adrenal fatigue? Does anyone have an idea how long it would take to normalize if I would stop taking oral contraceptives?

I still have the same symptoms that I had then, even slightly worse. But since it's somehow manageable (and my GP doesn't really know what to look for anymore), I sort of gave up looking for an explanation and tried to adjust my lifestyle somewhat.
