I redditrequested /r/parks a while back, but unfortunately I realized I don't have time to do anything with it myself. Previously this subreddit was unmodded and simply redirected to /r/themeparks. I think it would be nice to have a subreddit devoted to all parks (national parks, local parks etc). Even though it is very small it gets a lot of submissions since it is such a simple name (I think people submit without checking the subreddit). For the same reason it also gets a lot of spam. It needs some TLC.
