Do I really need an Ad Notice vendor such as Crownpeak/Evidon, TrustArc, or OneTrust?

Just doing some general discovery.
We use one of these vendors for "compliance" purposes.
I know there aren't any legal penalties if we decided to stop using an Ad Notice vendor for the AdChoices logo and to give users the option to opt-out.
I basically want to know if there's anything I should be taking into account should we want to look into potentially stop using our Ad Notice vendor altogether. Any major ramifications? To be honest, I can't think of any.
