Hey all,

I live in Virginia. I was 19 and dumb I got caught with possession of marijuana. The charge was dismissed but I can Google and it’s still on my record. I want to know would I still be able to get a job at major companies like all state, progressive, statefarm ect.

It’s legal in VA now and again I got it dismissed. But worried it will show up on my background check. This happened in 2014 btw so about 10 years ago.

Please any advise would help and appreciate it!

My hubby works for a major insurance company and had possession charges. You are good. Fraud charges are the only criminal charges you should worry about for licensing
