RESOLVED: Aloha!!! I’ve been on ADHD meds for about a year now (provided to me by my psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner). My experience getting on meds was very easy. I explained my symptoms and took a small online test and bam I was prescribed medication (which has been a lifesaver).
I’ve read a couple posed in this subreddit that talk about being “officially diagnosed” and I realized I have no idea whether I’ve been officially diagnosed or not. So my question is, how do I know if I’ve been officially diagnosed with adhd?
Edit: Thanks to all you lovely people I was able to access my online medical chart and see that I have been officially diagnosed!!! Thanks!!!
TLDR: I’ve been on adhd meds for over a year but how do I know if I’ve been officially diagnosed with adhd.
