So Iām in a training today for Critical Thinking. Off the rip, we are given a brain teaser with numbers. Sir, Iām a foster care worker; once I see numbers or a word problem, I check out.
I understand that critical thinking is important for my job, but not with the numbers. Iām great under pressure (thanks ADHD); I can think quickly and critically while out in the field working with parents and kiddos.
My undiagnosed ADHD is probs the reason why I did poorly on the SAT and even the ACT( I know I have Dyscalculia). Oh well!
