I’ve been seeing that some folks with ADHD have trouble picking or articulating favorites. I’m not diagnosed yet, so I’m still learning and not totally sure I have it (but hey, if the advice/understanding helps, why not learn more, right?).
So, favorites. I can name a handful of things I love, but what I name largely depends on the context I’m in, what I’m reminded of, what I’m in the mood for, or I just can’t think of any things to name at all. So I think of myself as not having a lot of “this is my one favorite [whatever]”. But some people find it useful to know what your favorites are so they can show they’re listening and getting to know you.
So- do y’all have favorites? How did you pick a favorite? Is it useful to have favorites?
