Does Anyone Else...

i’ve always wondered if this makes sense to anyone else. in order for me to focus on reading, studying, hw, etc., i need to have music in the background. however, the song has to have lyrics! if it’s instrumental, then my thoughts will take over & i won’t be able to focus on the task at hand. when i have music i’m able to sing along to the lyrics in my head while also doing the task. it is also helpful during exams, i am able to recall information by singing along to the songs that i was listening to while studying. anyone else??!
