I love this community with all I have (literally my fave sub, by far). But one thing Ive learned here is that ADHD is different for everyone. So many people post symptoms they have that I relate to (lack of appetite, lack of attention, multitasking...) but then there are many things I dont relate to at all.
For me, I always had great grades in school and I have 3 jobs at the same time (cause being in front of a computer doing nothing drives me insane). Also never had trouble being in loud spaces, which I guess comes from the fact that I grew up with 6 siblings and a million cousins.
Anyways, I thought it would be nice to ask this, just so we all see how different ADHD is in each person and no one feels less part of the community.
I’m never late, I have far too much anxiety. I don’t forget important things because I am far too hyper vigilant when it comes to letting others down. I also didn’t do poorly in school when I was young (but started to fail as soon as I hit post secondary).
