I need some advice on how to handle this.
This weekend I went to a three day festival. I've loved music festivals since I was an early teen: the camping, the music, the food, all the lights and the massive amount of people. Everyone is friendly and in a festive mood and it creates some kind of micro atmosphere. Really cool.
But right now I'm back home and the moment I set my first steps with all my baggage to shuttle bus, I could feel the dopamine drop immediately.
All of a sudden I felt anxious. Felt rejected because my friends had not reacted to my post about a musician I had seen. Felt lost.
I hate this feeling but I always get it the moment I leave.
Has anyone felt the same after an event? How do you handle it? Or do you just wait for it to go away?
