Through processing my experience and symptoms using ADHD coaching, dialing in meds, and time passing since the diagnosis, I'm starting to really come around to the positives of ADHD.
I'm even teaching my dad about ADHD and the positives, and giving him info on our ADHD brains (it's so clear he has it too now lol) and strategies to be more effective and less emotionally disregulated.
Anyways just wanted to post something because I like this sub a lot :) so hi everyone 😁🥳
My only real tip I have so far is that if I front load all my calories and have like 1000 calories for breakfast and 3-500 for lunch in snacks, I do much better day to day and don't crash as often when I have a big breakfast.
Also you can lie to yourself very effectively, or at least I can :) "I'm just walking to the mailbox" and then just keep going and take a nice walk with no resistance from my brain is my favorite so far :)
And remember that crying releases dopamine and makes you feel better, just like laughing does. It's vital to let it out ❤️❤️ feel your feelings bb. Name it out loud, feel it, be overwhelmed by it, give in to it, then pick yourself up and lie that you're just going to walk to the mailbox because you deserve a break now keeps walking into nature and actually gets the medicine I need, when my brain was telling me the couch was the medicine 😊❤️💘
