Do you find that ADHD is (heavily) anxiety fueled?
Comments

I have GAD and PTSD alongside my ADHD. I do think my constant state of high arousal from the PTSD plays a huge role in my ability to accomplish daily tasks. Oh, there’s laundry that needs to be folded? My brain thinks I’m fighting for my fucking life over here, I’m not worried about laundry.

When I am able to focus on something at work, my anxiety makes me absolutely terrified of messing up or the final product not being perfect. That’s when my hyperfocus kicks in and I inadvertently spend way too long on task A, and end up neglecting equally important tasks B, C and D.

My daily life is actually this scene from Reno 911. I’m doing my best!
