A coping mechanism that’s actually kinda been working for me

Showers. I’ll tell you, there’s nothing like stepping out of a hot shower, undressed under your covers with the fan on slow, just drying up in the cool cold air. Sometimes I’ll smoke weed too and this makes it even more relaxing. (Opiates were my problem and I am personally 100% okay with just weed).

I’m currently nearing 60 days clean. I’m doing very well right now, I feel confident and powerful; I just want to get everything in order. I mean I imagine this is just my endorphins blasting off throughout my body, but for some reason when I’m facing BAD cravings a 20 minute shower is enough to stop it completely.

Also, cold showers are even better. What I do is a mix of hot/cold where I do hot for 1 1/2 minutes and then cold for 30 seconds and then back to hot again, etc.
