Quite simply, I need to know if there is a way I can physically block access to a number of social media applications (ie Tiktok, Reddit, Instagram etc) as my nightly routine is causing me great distress and lost sleep. While I acknowledge that this is a small scale issue I realise the damage it is doing and I am honestly so addicted to this routine that pure discipline and willpower will be useless.
I need to know if there is a 3rd party application I can install on my phone that will at certain times completely block all access to these apps under the security of a password which would be managed by a close family member.
I recently tried using Downtime, but it was too easy to get around, I set my limits up for the applications to be blocked at 9:30 and sure enough they disappeared from my home screen, but I was able to quickly bypass this by ignoring the limit on it, allowing me access to it.
Can anyone help?
