Addicted to sleeping tablets

It only occurred to me recently that im addicted to sleeping tablets. Any advice to get off the things. Im stuck on zopiclone. Is going to the doctor the best thing? How would i bring up the addiction? Theyre prescribed sleeping tablets. Stopping them i get no sleep and start hallucinating
