Turning XR into IR - Do i take the same amount?

Adderall XR

Was just prescribed adderall 5mg XR for the first time although have taken it previously. I assume 5mg will not do much for me so i am going to start with 10mg tomorrow.

My question is that on the weekend i am going to a party and want to just take IR later on so it doesnt last as long.

How much would you recommend taking for a party setting?? And also, if i were to take 20mg XR for example and crushed it and parachuted/drank it, would that turn it into IR, as well as would it still be 20mg or would it feel more intense than that?

Sorry for my scattered post. Just dont wanna overdo it but want to make sure i have a good and euphoric time!! (Besides every other day when i take it just for ADHD 😂)
