So I've recently picked up twitch, im in love with the champion and decided to FINALLY touch s/d queue again. First game goes extremely well even at EARLY GAME (im 4/2/2 by 10 mins and only 20 cs behind enemy adc cus ive been trying to respond to all the ARAM-ing my team wants to do) or so I thought? Our jg kept losing dragons, would never commit to finishing them but would commit long enough to bait our entire team into trying to finish the drake and this made our akali top dc. I figured "ok dont ff i can try and scale, i wont lose much from trying-- only -10-13 lp if i lose"
I tried to play safe, always farmed under turrets and would never go too deep in a lane, I let the waves crash onto me. Jungler(nocturne) and midlaner (mid karma) would keep forcing unnecessary fights even without any objectives on map or any good picks they kept stealing my waves. I was still chunking enemy team whenever we got a good fight down but after every good fight or pick, they'd immediately follow it up with something stupid like forcing a nash with 0 prio or random mid fight that we'd still lose cus enemy fiddle is super strong. Oh and also bonus bit of info, nocturne baited me bot lane once to get a double kill for himself after I'd died.
I lost the game sitting at 7/10/10 with 3rd highest damage in the game. I'm not all that upset about it-- lp gain is still really high compared to my lp loss so w/e but I'm curious-- what should I have done? Teammates wouldn't just let me scale, I definitely made some mistakes like getting caught out once by their pyke but otherwise I think my mindset of respecting how behind I was, was the right choice. Help?
