ATPA Module

So I am hearing that this module is actually quite tough, requiring some serious coding skills (looks like we have the option to code in R or Python)
I assume it is best not to just jump into the assessment unprepared, can anyone recommend study resources? is taking ATPA before SRM -> PA a horrible idea?
Any thought as to whether R or Python is more ideal for this assessment?
