Ok so I'm literally watching Shrek okay 🤣 and I really find Shrek and Fiona cute together, especially since Fiona herself has a pretty strong personality compared to female leads in other movies/series

Despite identifying as a lesbian, I still find myself liking and watching movies or series where the leads are straight (okay it's mostly Disney and Pixar movies, or fantasy series anyway).

I see people constantly looking for and only watching stuff that has lgbt representation (which unfortunately is still pretty scarce), while kind of frowning upon every single piece of media so far which doesn't really have said representation. And I get it, but at the same time it's kind of restrictive in my opinion cause there's only so much you can find to watch that has good lgbt rep and not just a token gay character who's in it for comedic purposes.

Anyway, back to my question, I feel weird cause apparently I'm not supposed to like straight media or representation based on people's opinions online.
