Dating apps are clearly not working for me… I realized I’ve never tried to pick up a woman in person before (I’m 25). I live in the state of Maryland.
My small town is hosting an LGBT bingo night and drag show at a well known restaurant. Suburb life haha If do attend, then I’ll be going by myself.
Would it be socially acceptable to try to find a girlfriend at bingo night? How do I signal to other queers that I’m single and looking for a long-term girlfriend? I was thinking of slapping a sign on my back that says single, 25, lesbian but that looks really desperate and cringy. Any ideas?
Update: Do I ask the waiter to be seated near a group around my age? I’m not going with anyone. It would be just me.
Update: Scratch out bingo night! I actually met this lovely gem of a woman off Reddit :) We messaged/video chatted each other from 11pm-7am. Yes, 8 hours!! We connected on so many levels! I love her smile and her presence made me feel at peace. I want to put in the patience, time, effort and care into this relationship to watch it slowly blossom into something truly beautiful ✨ ❤️ ✨
