I plan on talking to them about it more, but I wanted to see if anyone had suggestions? My partner really struggles with the rainy season because of all the mud and water. They get sever anxiety about going outside and about the outside in general. It overwhelms them. Due to how dirty they perceive everything to be.
We're working on finding them a therapist, but for now I'm left trying to help. And they have nothing to offer when I ask what I can do to help.
They are very supportive of me when I'm struggling, but I often feel lost when trying to comfort them because it seems often when I just try things it is rarely what they need. So I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions?
