I need to vent about the new season of Harley Quinn

Spoilers, obviously
I am just so over the way they're writing the relationship between Harley and Ivy. I get it, they're villains and traumatized by a life of villainry. But seriously, the literal children in Owl House and Amphibia demonstrate more emotional maturity.
I really wish the writers would actually allow their relationship to work and just move on to other things. I frankly don't care if it's out of character for them. I want to see them being emotionally honest and vulnerable with each other.
